• Profile information: Display name and avatar emoji you choose
• Household data: Bill amounts, due dates, and payment status you enter
• Payment preferences: Your preferred payment app and username (Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, etc.)
• Usage data: How you interact with the app

3. How We Use Your Information

• To provide bill splitting and payment reminder services
• To send notifications about bills and payments
• To display your information to household members you've joined with

4. Information Sharing

• Your name and payment username are visible to members of your household
• We do not sell your personal information to third parties
• We do not share your data with advertisers
• Payment transactions occur directly between users via third-party apps. SplitHome never processes or stores payment information.

5. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, a trusted cloud database provider. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest.

6. Third-Party Services

SplitHome integrates with the following third-party services:

• Supabase — database and authentication
• Venmo, Cash App, PayPal, Zelle — payment processing (we only open these apps, we never handle your money)

7. Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us.

8. Children's Privacy

SplitHome is not intended for users under 13 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
